Don't worry "no funny business" ... the php script I want to deploy passes on the URL request to my site. because it's running on a UK server the 'requestor' will be using the IP of the server its running on. So hopefully that way when they do a check it won't bomb

I'm not even sure if this will work or not. I only know that when I (or a couple of other "test customers"... ie my family!) order from my site from home (in Guernsey) it flops but if I order from work using a proxy on our UK network it works!
